Hello!

With my departure for Nice just around the corner, I am finally starting to get excited for the upcoming trip. Through the flurry of activity involved in preparing, I have had little time to think about anything other than packing. With my bags all packed, I am only now beginning to consider the multitude of experiences I have ahead of me. I have talked with a few other members of the group via the internet, and I cannot wait to connect with the other members. It has been a while since I studied French. I am very excited to study the language again. I am especially intrigued by the idea of learning the language through the culture in Nice, which is why I selected the French language and culture elective. I hope to use the language classes and this elective to bring my French comprehension, conversational skills, and grammar to a higher level than they have been at in the past. I will be leaving tomorrow evening, looking forward to meeting my peers and sharing some wonderful experiences with them. Unfortunately, I am not taking the group flight, so I will have to wait to meet everybody until we meet up in Paris. Still, I can't wait to get going!
